High-Performance Q-Top Universal 101 PET23

The film is manufactured using Q-Top Universal 101 PET23, a strong coated polyester film engineered primarily for pressed-board trays.

Its low-temperature melt coating, excellent slip properties and short sealing-window capability help provide a secure and reliable peelable seal when used with compatible trays and correctly configured sealing equipment.

Recommended Sealing Guidelines

The following settings are provided as a starting point:

• Temperature: 180–200°C
• Dwell time: 1–5+ seconds, depending on the machine and tray
• Pressure: Approximately 5 bar

Settings may need to be adjusted to suit your tray material, sealing machine and production environment.

Important Heating Notice

This lidding film must be removed before placing the tray in an oven or microwave.

The film may be used to seal compatible ovenable or microwaveable trays, but the film itself is not intended to remain on the tray during heating.

We strongly recommend testing the film with your trays and sealing equipment before placing a full order.

If you are using trays that were not supplied by SystemPAK, please contact us before ordering so we can review the application. We cannot accept responsibility for sealing performance when the film is used with untested trays or equipment outside our recommended range.
