Lidding Film for PP & CA-PP Top Seal Trays

Our PP & CA-PP lidding film is engineered specifically for use with SystemPAK trays, delivering consistent, high-performance sealing for professional food packaging. It is compatible with all suitably sized PP and CA-PP trays, providing a secure, reliable seal across a wide range of applications.

If you intend to use this film with non-SystemPAK trays, please contact us before placing your order to confirm compatibility. We cannot accept liability for sealing performance or results when the film is used with trays other than SystemPAK trays.

Lidding film is essential for creating an air-tight and liquid-tight seal on top-seal containers and trays, helping to protect products, extend shelf life, and enhance presentation. This product is commonly purchased alongside sealing dies, manual or automatic heat-sealing machines, and top-seal containers, making it an ideal solution for efficient and secure packaging.

Technical Specifications

Material: PET/PP 12/30µ transparent lidding film with anti-fog properties (denoted by “AF” after the product code), designed to prevent misting on the underside of the film after sealing.

Performance:

• Approx. 1100+ impressions when used with suitably sized trays

• Excellent weld seal to the substrate

Mechanical Properties:

• Tensile strength at break (MD): 130 daN/15mm

Barrier Properties:

• Oxygen: 110 cc/m²/24hr/bar

• Water vapour: 7.5 g/m²/24hr

• Carbon dioxide: 550 cc/m²/24hr/bar

Heat Sealing Parameters:

• Operating temperature range: 95°C – 145°C

• Dwell time: typically a few seconds once target temperature is reached

Packaging:

• 2 rolls per carton

Optional:

• Peelable lidding film available on request
